I work as a change facilitator, professional supervisor and certified trainer, assisting people and businesses in creating the life they inspire to have. I have spent three decades studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Psychology, Management, Havening Technique, plus many strategies that assist with change as well as running successful businesses.
My personal focus is to take a holistic approach to change work, knowing that assisting people achieve their life outcomes and empower them to change their mind-set for their highest good will purposely create the life they deserve! Empowering is my significant dream – I work at it daily, one person or group at a time, so that each person can learn the skills and strategies to make it happen for them! If every person is working at their highest good, what a fantastic world we can all achieve!
I live in Gisborne and have been married to John for 31 years, and we have five incredible children and five intriguing grandchildren.
Having begun my NLP journey over 13 years ago, this way of working with people has been the foundation for coaching, facilitating and working therapeutically with adults and children in the private and public sectors. Building on that foundation in the fields of psychology and counselling I now work as a school counsellor in a Canterbury high school.
Highlights in my career include incorporating NLP strategies and principles into a CDHB funded programme that is proving it's worth for people who experience moderate to severe anxiety. RecoveryWorks has been changing lives for over 10 years now. Another thrill has been authoring a children's book to help primary school aged young people overcome anxiety and gain confidence and resilience.
Farming in Canterbury and with my 3 adult children all living in other parts of the country and overseas I continue to enjoy sport, yoga, sewing, gardening and friends.
